Until We Arise is a faith-based non-profit committed to the empowerment of individuals. We are driven not only by our faith, but also the desire to truly see people be free!

Freed from limitations, labels, guilt, shame, depression, loneliness and whatever else people may be battling. We believe that through our work not only are we addressing these issues on personal levels, but we believe we are combatting larger issues of oppression especially for people of color, women, and the least of these in our communities such as homeless people, transitional aged youth, and victims of sexual violence.

These issues are real and we desire to see people walk in wholeness and to move pass the trauma that all of us have had to deal with on one level or another. Real life can kick us down and rob us of our ability to live out our dreams, but we believe there is a tremendous amount of power in the restoration of HOPE.

The ways we do this is through the curating unique and inspiring encounters. We connect with grass-root community partners to create safe and unique spaces to tell stories, share resource and build authentic community. Essential elements of every Until We Arise encounter include: delicious food, authentic conversation, and a beautiful ambiance.

Every person who attends a UWA event will return to their home, church, or workplace more powerful, more whole, and more likely to be a change agent in their community.
