Great things have been happening at Until We Arise! We feel that God has called us to focus on the area around our current office. There is such a need here in LA, and God has been providing for us all along the way. Bimbo Bread has started donating 10 loaves of bread every week. This provides for 100 sandwiches that are handed out in the community. Sprouts also gave us a $50 donation to help buy supplies for the outreach. We are grateful for the support that allows us to continue doing God’s work. “We See You” Kitchen is still happening every Saturday from 10 am- 2 pm. Our goal is to provide a plate of love to those under the bridges and in the alleyways. Everyone deserves the opportunity to be seen. “We See You” Kitchen – Until We Arise
We are continuing with Elia’s support group. This is an online group for women who have experienced the unimaginable loss of miscarriage or stillbirth. I am blown away by the stories of the lives that have been changed. One of the girls found us on Instagram this past spring, even though she did not know anyone in the group. She recently opened up about how the support group has completely changed her life for the better. Before coming to the support group, she had not opened up to anyone. She had not yet accepted the fact that she was grieving or gone through the process of receiving the healing she needed. Since joining the support group, she has been able to face fears that she used to run from and take on new challenges. One of her new endeavors includes going to grad school! Stories like these show God’s provision and keep Until We Arise going. You matter. Your story matters. You are not alone. You are worthy of the healing you deserve. Elia’s support group meets every Thursday from 7 pm-8 pm PST. We would love for you to join us in your healing process.
